What to eat and where to stay in Ipoh

Few friends have asked me for this information and i decided to post it here to share with all my blog readers. The food and hotel recommendations are based on my experience and also research done reviewing through multiple articles on the web. If you found any of them not true, you are welcome to comment on it, better still if you can recommend something better.

For hotel, i have stayed twice in Regalodge hotel (~RM140, rated#4 in Tripadvisor) with kids. It is clean, modern, good quality of sleep and good location. Recently i notice a new hotel-French hotel (~RM130, rate#5 in Tripadvisor) is getting very popular, but haven't tried out yet. As for food, here is a list of good eatery places, all are welcome to add to the list.
